Account & Personal Data Deletion
In compliance with Google Play Store policies and GDPR / CCPA privacy frameworks, users of OmniBook have the right to permanently erase their account and all associated personal data.
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion
Follow these steps inside the mobile or web application:
- Open the OmniBook application.
- Navigate to Settings (or tap your profile in the top right).
- Select Account & Security.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account & Purge Data.
- Confirm your security credentials (password or Google Sign-In) to execute immediate deletion.
Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form
If you no longer have access to the app, submit this verified request. An email confirmation link will be delivered to complete verification.
What Gets Deleted & Retention Periods
- Immediately Erased: Auth user record, Google OAuth profile linkages, FCM device notification tokens, patient appointment notes, hotel booking preferences.
- Cached Local Storage: Automatically purged upon your next app launch or instantly when deleted via in-app settings.
- Legal Accounting Retention: In accordance with tax regulations, invoices and financial transaction ledgers are retained securely in cold storage for a legally mandated period of 10 years, after which they are automatically destroyed.
- Processing Timeframe: Web deletion requests are completed within 72 business hours following email verification.
